Overview:
The Ghorepani Trekking is known as Ghorepani Poon Hill trek which is very popular trekking in Nepal. Poon hill is best viewpoint of Ghorepani treks from where you will see the best sunrise in the morning so every trekker go to the Poon hill (3200m) early in the morning from Ghorepani. Oh, amazing views welcome you to explore Ghorepani poon hill in Annapurna region. Ghorepani Poon hill trek in a short time give you opportunity to view wonderful above 8000m mountains including Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna (I) as well as other less then 8000 meters higher mountains including Annapurna south, Machhapuchhapure (fishtail), Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli and with a maze of other peaks slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes.
Subtropical to alpine vegetation and climates is found changing with the elevation. Trekking in the region allows to explore through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the annapurna and Dhaulagiri and through the deepest gorge in the world, the kali Gandaki Gorge.
Climate in this region does not remain constant as the cold winds from the Tibetan plateau rush through the south . Thrung La Pass , Jomsom Muktinath , Ghorepani , Annapurna Base camp, and Ghandrung are some of the famous Trekking destination of this region which is lies in the western part of Nepal. This region is the popular in the world. we see the lot's mountain views Annapurna south (7219M ),Annapurna I (8091M) , Annapurna II (7937M), Annapurna III , Annapurna IV, Machhapuchhre (6993M) , Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri( 8167M) Hiunchuli(6441M), Lamjung Himal (6931M) and other many more peak and mountains views.
This trek known also as the small Annapurna Circuit is a very popular one in Nepal. The highest point of this trek (3200 mtrs) and for many the highlight is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas where the mountains stretch as far as the eye can see North towards Tibet West towards the Dhaulagiri Himal and East with superb views of the Annapurna Himal. Not a difficult trek but it helps if you have a reasonable degree of fitness. This trek is considered to be the best introduction to trekking with some spectacular views.
Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive, Kathmandu to Pokhara (7 hours), overnight hotel.Day 02: Drive to Nayapul trek to Ulleri (1960 m.)
Day 03: Ulleri / Ghorepani (2750 m.)
Day 04: Ghorepani / Tadapani (2590 m.) Day 05 Tadapani / Ghandrung (1940 m.)
Day 06: Ghandrung / Pothana (1900 m.)
Day 07: Trek, Pothana / Phedi drive back to Pokhara, overnight hotel.
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu.
