Sagamartha (Everest) Base Camp trek takes us into one of the most spectacular regions of Nepal where the Sherpa culture thrives amongst the highest peaks in the world. The Sagamartha massif as seen from Thyangboche and Kala Pattar is a sight you will never forget, and the hospitality of these tough mountain people will remain with you for a long time. This is the traditional trek to view Sagamartha, following the historic trail and travelling in true expedition style; it will appeal to those who wish to retrace the steps of history to the base of the highest mountain in the world.
Mount Everest Base Camp has been a popular destination for trekkers since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953. To reach this part of the Himalaya within a limited time, we have devised this two week trek to Everest Base Camp which runs directly to and from Lukla.
When it comes to spectacular breathtaking mountain panoramas, the Everest base camp and Kala Pattar Trek is without equal, if you like to walk, this is one of the most inspiring places in the world to do it. After exploring the temples, shrines, bazaars and restaurants of Kathmandu we take an exciting mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to Everest region. The walk to Everest Base Camp from Lukla takes you through lush valleys with abundant flora and fauna, past friendly Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries, and far above the tree line towards the earth's highest mountains. Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse and Mt. Everest tower above you on this demanding but very rewarding trek. While passing Buddhist monasteries views of Everest get closer every day. Acclimatizing is very important therefore we will have rest days in the villages of Namche and Dingboche that will allow us to explore the region and acclimatize. This stunning trek visits both, base camp and Kala Patar (5555m), a viewpoint recognised as the best vantage point to see Mount Everest which is a premier goal for many adventurous walkers in the Himalaya. After trekking to Kalapattar we return at our leisurely pace back to Namche and Lukla for our return flight to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840m) hike to Phakding (2610m)
Day 03: Phakding (2610m) trek to Namche Bazar (3440m)
Day 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar
Day 05: Namche Bazar (3440m) trek to Tengboche (3860m)
Day 06: Tengboche (3860m) trek to Dingboche (4410m)
Day 07: Dingboche (4410m) trek to Chhukung (4730m)
Day 08: Chhukung (4730m) trek to Dingboche (4410m)
Day 09: Dingboche (4410m) trek to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 10: Lobuche (4910m) - Gorakhshep (5140m)
Day 11: Morning/ day-9 same day afternoon visit Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar (5545m) trek back to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 12: Lobuche (4910m) trek back to Tengboche
Day 11: Tengboche trek back to Jorsale / Phakding
Day 12: Jorsale / Phakding trek back to Lukla (2840m)
Day 13: Early morning fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.
Day 14: Sightseeing day and evening farewell dinner at typical Nepali restaurant.
